About the Position

We are seeking a CDL Class A Driver to support local grocery deliveries out of the Frederick, MD area. This position involves delivering palletized grocery products to local store locations within approximately 100 air miles of Frederick, Maryland.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Varies - apply to learn more
  • Training: 5 days of training provided before the driver operates alone

Job Details

  • Route Type: Local
  • Freight: Palletized grocery products
  • Equipment: Class A tractor-trailer, automatic transmission (manual transmission knowledge preferred)
  • Handling: Electric riding pallet jack and single electric pallet jack used for freight handling

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver palletized groceries to local store locations
  • Load and unload freight using electric pallet jacks
  • Secure product properly, including strapping egg racks

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
  • Strong backing experience is highly preferred
  • Electric pallet jack experience preferred, but training will be provided
  • Ability to load and unload palletized freight
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
