Practice Pediatric Neurology in a High-Acuity, Academic, Multidisciplinary Environment

At Children’s Hospital of Michigan, pediatric neurologists practice within a system built for complex care, academic involvement, and real collaboration across specialties.

This is an opportunity to work within a high-acuity pediatric program grounded in family-centered care, supported by advanced neurodiagnostics and the full infrastructure of Tenet Healthcare.

As a Pediatric Neurologist with Children’s Hospital of Michigan, you’ll provide evidence-based, empathetic, and highly specialized care to children with neurological conditions, working closely with neurosurgery, radiology, and critical care teams in complex clinical settings.

The program supports more than 11,000 clinic visits annually and offers a balanced structure that includes six outpatient clinics per week, inpatient rotations ranging from 4–8 weeks per year, and shared weekend call coverage approximately once every 4–8 weeks alongside Pediatric Neurology and Adult Neurology residents.

What You Can Expect:

A Level 4 Epilepsy Center managing complex seizure disorders with dedicated EMU
A Level 1 Trauma Center supporting high-acuity pediatric cases
Multidisciplinary collaboration across neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, and ICU teams
Access to advanced neuroimaging including 3T, MRI, PET, DTI, and low-radiation CT
Gene Therapy for neuromuscular disorders
Various Multidisciplinary Pediatric Neurology Clinics including Tuberous Sclerosis/Sturge-Weber Syndrome Clinic, Epilepsy Clinic, Concussion Clinic, Functional Neurological Disorder Clinic, Sleep Clinic, Muscular Dystrophy Clinic.
ACGME-accredited pediatric neurology residency and pediatric epilepsy fellowship program: 2-3 pediatric neurology residents per year and 1 pediatric epilepsy fellow per year
A team of fellowship-trained child neurologists and specialized APPs, NP’s, RN’s and MA’s
Academic affiliation with opportunities to teach, mentor, and contribute to research
Exposure to subspecialties including epilepsy, neurogenetics, neuromuscular disorders, and developmental neurology
