Full job description
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Toms River, NJ. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain skills for everyday life. Apply and a recruiter will reach out with the details.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active New Jersey COTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start of assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. (Preferred)
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience providing ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and functional positioning to older adult populations preferred.
- Ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Occupational Therapist and document patient progress in electronic medical records.
