The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is located in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services in a short-term acute care facility. Job Details:

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)

Skills include experience in outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and performing assessments, evaluations, patient education, and use of therapeutic equipment

Special Requirements:

Floating between units not required

On-call and weekend work as scheduled, including working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)

No pass pass-through in employer background checks, must be eligible for local radius requirements

Responses to candidate screening questions related to prior employment at a Providence facility and references are required during the submission process

Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting and hold a compact license if applicable

No specific information regarding travel experience required; this is an inpatient therapist role

Additional Information:

Candidates should possess strong skills in patient assessment, discharge planning, gait training, and handling various orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Must be able to work 8-hour shifts on days and commit to the specified schedule and holiday coverage requirements.
