Reporting to the Director of Corporate Sales and Director of Leisure Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:             

  • Communicates client preferences to cross-departmental teams
  • Review and action any special arrangements
  • Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process
  • Prompt response to internal and external guests’ inquiries
  • Perform sites of the property
  • File all internal and external events event bookings and include all required information for file creation and applicable maintenance
  • Assist with incoming phone calls and emails to the Corporate and Leisure Office, qualify the inquiry and distribute
  • Complete reservations for travel agent rates, complimentary stays and site inspections
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and travel agency partners
  • Attend department and other property meetings as required
  • Greet and assist VIP clients and industry guest when visiting the property

  • Previous Sales experience required; luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or relevant computer applications required 
  • Experience with Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure, strong level of initiative required
  • Proven command of the English language, both oral and written. Excellent telephone etiquette. Proficient skills in proofreading and editing
  • Managing budgets, schedules and reports
  • A team player who enjoys contact with clients and general public
