TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Local home daily Hazmat Driver to support local operations based in Newton, NC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Driver Details

• Monday - Friday
• Start time 8:00 PM
• 10- 12 hour shift
• Pay: $0.61 cents per mile
• Route Type: Shuttle
• Handling: No Touch

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A with Hazmat Endorsement
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Equipment Experience: tractor trailer and freight delivery experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate 52' tractor trailer on local routes
• Transport food in accordance with DOT and company safety standards to warehouses
• Perform required handling tasks
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to safely lift 50 lbs
