Summary
Coordinate resident medical appointments with our van schedule and prepare documentation needed for upcoming appointments. Update family members on upcoming appointments to ensure they are kept in the loop. Greet persons entering the facility, determine nature and purpose of visit, and check in, direct or escort them to specific destinations.Job Description
Schedule appointment and maintain an updated calendar. Work with van driver, family members, and unit managers to ensure residents are being seen in a timely manner that works with our schedule. Prepare paperwork to send with residents to keep providers on the same page and ensure we are receiving the correct information. This gives our residents the best care possible. This will be 90% of the job. Fast paced environment. Must be able to multitask and have great communication skills. Answer inquires and provide information to the general public, patients/residents, visitors, and/or employees regarding activities conducted at the facility, location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization. May collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Applicable experience preferred.
Based on facility needs, may require a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
