Manpower Engineering is exclusively partnering with a reputable, very well-established and growing company in New Berlin, WI on a highly visible and direct hire/permanent Senior Electrical Project Manager position that has strong development and growth opportunities and is available due to succession planning.

  • Compensation Plan: Depending on qualifications/experience, this opportunity can offer up to a base salary of $160,000 plus bonus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Electrical Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from conception through completion – planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with company standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, technical ability, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Manage all phases of electrical projects, from initial planning to final closeout.
    • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
    • Coordinate manpower scheduling, material procurement, and equipment needs.
    • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure full understanding of scope.
  • Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, engineers, and suppliers.
    • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure project expectations are met.
    • Lead project meetings, provide updates, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts.
    • Review and approve change orders, subcontractor invoices, and progress billings.
    • Track job costs and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
  • Quality & Safety:
    • Ensure projects meet company quality standards and electrical codes (NEC, state, and local regulations).
    • Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety and compliance with company and OSHA requirements.
    • Conduct project walkthroughs and inspections as needed.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Collaborate with field supervisors and electricians to coordinate daily activities.
    • Provide guidance, support, and problem-solving to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer License (PE) is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience. 10+ years of experience is a plus.
  • Experience doing the electrical design for 2,000-amp+, medium voltage (MV), or high voltage (HV) projects.
  • Ability to change designs based on customer’s budget.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Estimating experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ladder logic is a plus.
