Full job description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the review and analysis of master data maintenance requests and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate master data is maintained across key systems and business processes.
  • Establish and manage issue resolution processes with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as an end-to-end master data subject matter expert from both business and data perspectives.
  • Support planned and ad-hoc data analysis and master data issue resolution activities.
  • Partner with downstream stakeholders to facilitate end-to-end master data updates.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for applicable data domains.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data catalog and business glossary.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of data standards, policies, procedures, and data quality rules.
  • Lead process improvements related to data flow and data quality to improve accuracy, consistency, and value.
  • Coordinate recommendations for critical processes with functional, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Analyze the impact of master data changes across data domains, business processes, downstream systems, and transactions.
  • Support Workday data management activities, including data extraction, data loading, validation, and maintenance.
  • Develop and manage Workday EIBs for data loads and updates.
  • Support Workday Supplier data and related Procure-to-Pay master data activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience in data management, master data, or data governance.
  • Experience working with master data within a mid-size or large organization.
  • Understanding of data management and data governance principles.
  • Experience developing and maintaining a business data glossary and data quality rules.
  • Workday experience, with emphasis on Workday Supplier data.
  • Experience extracting and loading data in Workday.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing Workday EIBs.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and PivotTables.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
