Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2820 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Past UPH FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or have worked there within the past 12 months. If they previously worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details: Types of patients/surgeries: prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, thyroidectomy, etc. Heparin drips administered. General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients who require overnight stays.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements: Float to other Med/Surg Tele units is required. May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
