Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Department supporting shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Morris, IL

Pay Rate: $21.40

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Follow loading diagrams and instructions from the Shipping Lead to accurately identify products, roll amounts, and loading order for truck loading.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow shippers to ensure efficient trailer loading processes.
• Resolve count discrepancies in coordination with the Shipping Lead.
• Perform unloading and proper storage of raw materials and supplies in designated areas.
• Operate forklifts safely, completing daily checklists and reporting any performance issues.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of finished goods and raw materials.
• Good math skills and accuracy in work.
• Certification in forklift operations.
• Good physical condition, able to lift up to 75 lbs.
