Full job description
The Corrugate Tech is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by towing, collecting, sorting, and disposing of cardboard and waste materials, and assisting with general cleanliness inside and around the facility.
- Tow and empty trash and cardboard carts throughout the shift.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load or unload trailers.
- Collect, sort, and distribute stock, pallets, cardboard, and trash.
- Perform physical warehouse tasks such as walking long distances, climbing stairs, and lifting materials.
- Assist with outdoor cleanup of parking lots and facility grounds.
- Follow Amazon/warehouse safety policies, especially when operating motorized equipment.
- Communicate clearly with warehouse managers in person and via radio.
- Support janitorial and warehouse operations as assigned.
Work Environment
- Fast‑paced warehouse setting.
- Involves working around machinery, stocking areas, dock doors, and trash disposal areas.
- May require occasional work at heights (mezzanines).
- Preferably 1 year of warehouse or janitorial experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read and follow safety materials, complete equipment logs, and conduct inspections.
- Familiarity with corrugate-handling machinery is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push/lift 50–75 lbs consistently.
- Ability to work on feet for long periods and navigate stairs.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Safety gear (e.g., hard hat, safety shoes) may be required.
