Daniels Health is offering a $1,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Hayward! 


We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Hayward, CA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.  This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits. What will your job involve?

  • Collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer sites
  • Provide professional, courteous service and build positive customer relationships
  • Operate 26ft box trucks  safely in all conditions
  • Complete routes on time and communicate delays or issues as they arise
  • Load and unload containers; organize your truck and day to meet your schedule
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report issues immediately
  • Follow DOT regulations, log hours correctly, and support roadside inspections
  • Work with dispatch and teammates to resolve route or customer problems
  • Own up to mistakes, report incidents accurately, and follow through on fixes

What are we looking for?

  • Delivery experience within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling (advantageous not mandatory)
  • Willingness to work full time hours, approx. 40 hours a week
  • Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
  • Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
  • Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks)
  • Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
  • Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
  • Proven longevity in past employment
  • On time delivery practices
