Maintenance and Sanitation Tech

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance and Sanitation Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance and Sanitation Tech, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the plant's daily maintenance and cleanliness efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance and Sanitation Tech

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Pay Range: $23-$25

Shift: 7AM-3:30PM Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of CNC machines, including lubrication, fluids change, and refilling.
• Perform general maintenance tasks for the entire facility, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
• Keep floor space and scrap areas clean, organized, and free of spills or debris.
• Collect and dispose of garbage, cardboard, and fluids in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Perform minor repairs such as plumbing, drywall, painting, and furniture maintenance as needed.

What's Needed?

• Experience in cleaning manufacturing equipment and using cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Certification and experience in operating and driving a forklift.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Hands-on approach with attention to detail and safety compliance.
