The QEHS Manager leads the site's Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety programs, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, BRC, and corporate requirements while driving a culture of quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS), BRC certification program, PPOC process, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management systems.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, BRC standards, OSHA regulations, environmental regulations, and corporate policies while maintaining audit readiness at all times.
- Manage customer complaints, non-conformances, incident investigations, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, product safety, and workplace safety performance.
- Monitor and report quality, food safety, environmental, and safety KPIs; identify trends and implement corrective actions to drive sustained improvement.
- Serve as the primary site contact for customer audits, BRC audits, regulatory inspections, corporate assessments, and compliance activities.
- Oversee document control, internal audits, management reviews, traceability exercises, environmental programs, emergency preparedness, and required regulatory reporting.
- Ensure all hazards, near misses, first aid cases, incidents, and corrective actions are properly reported, investigated, tracked, and closed within VelocityEHS, holding leaders accountable for timely follow-up and conducting regular safety reviews.
- Lead quality and safety onboarding for new employees, including company standards, BRC requirements, GMP expectations, hazard reporting, PPE requirements, and site safety procedures.
- Provide leadership and oversight for three hourly direct reports, including attendance and timekeeping, training and development, and performance management.
- Partner with Plant Leadership to drive a culture of quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of quality, EHS, or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Knowledge of QMS, BRC, PPOC, auditing, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of OSHA, environmental compliance, and safety management systems.
- Experience leading audits, investigations, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality/EHS management systems; VelocityEHS experience preferred.
- Relevant certifications (Lean Six Sigma, ASQ, OSHA, etc.) preferred.
