Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our hospital facility in Freeport, where you will engage directly with patients in a dynamic clinical setting. Your standard work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in executing individualized treatment strategies that promote recovery and improve physical function.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and exercise instruction, to aid patient rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on effective exercise regimens and self-care strategies to foster independence and long-term health.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, documenting significant changes and outcomes during therapy sessions, ensuring accurate records for treatment reviews.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, including occupational therapists and physicians, to provide comprehensive care and facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize specialized techniques, like trigger point therapy, when appropriate, to manage and alleviate pain for patients.
• Support initiatives focused on occupational health within the facility, contributing to a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or a related field is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
