Full job description
The Franchise Development Analyst supports the strategic growth of Inspire Brands' non-traditional franchise portfolio through analysis, opportunity evaluation, pipeline management, and franchise development project execution. This role independently analyzes development opportunities, develops business recommendations, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to advance franchise development initiatives. The Analyst serves as a key resource for market intelligence, financial and operational analysis, and development reporting while helping drive growth across non-traditional channels including airports, travel centers, colleges and universities, military installations, healthcare systems, entertainment venues, and other alternative locations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze non-traditional franchise development opportunities and provide recommendations to support growth strategies.
Schedule and coordinate intro calls, kickoff calls, and site intake calls with franchisees, concessionaires, and host-venue contacts (RDMs, campus directors of ops).
Manage development-team calendars, meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-up notes for internal and partner meetings.
Proactively track and follow up on open deal items; including operations interviews, signatures, and pending approvals.
Serve as first point of contact for inbound non-traditional leads — gathering high-level info, qualifying and routing to the right franchise manager.
Conduct proactive outreach and prospecting to potential franchisees, concessionaires, and strategic alliance partners; build and maintain targeted contact lists.
Track upcoming RFP/solicitation calendars (airports, universities, military) and flag opportunities early so managers can plan outreach.
Own Salesforce data hygiene and deal-record upkeep — creating deals, updating stages, logging activities, and keeping records current so managers aren't the ones re-entering.
Perform data entry across all non-traditional system stack.
Maintain and update the RFP asset library.
Manage and maintain development pipelines, forecasts, and performance reporting.
Evaluate prospective franchisees, locations, and development opportunities using available financial, operational, and market data.
Conduct market, competitive, demographic, and business analyses to support development decisions.
Develop presentations, business cases, and recommendations for leadership review.
Coordinate development projects from opportunity identification through execution, ensuring alignment with development objectives.
Partner with Real Estate, Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, Market Planning and external stakeholders to move development projects forward.
Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to track development performance.
Present findings and recommendations to franchise development leadership and cross-functional partners.
Serve as a resource and subject matter contact for franchise development data, reporting, and pipeline insights.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in franchise development, business analytics, real estate, corporate development, sales strategy, or related field.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience creating reports, dashboards, and business recommendations.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
Experience supporting franchise development or restaurant growth initiatives.
Knowledge of franchising, development agreements, and site evaluation processes.
Experience working with CRM platforms, data visualization tools, or business intelligence systems.
Familiarity with non-traditional development channels and multi-unit restaurant operations.
