TransForce is seeking a CDL B Driver to support local operations based inElk Grove Village, IL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL B Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday -Friday 7am-5pm
- Pay: $25.00/hr OT after 40, $1,400 - $1,500 Estimated weekly pay
- Route Type: Local, Home Daily, No Weekends!
- Freight / Load Type: Food, restaurant supplies
- Equipment: automatic & manual transmission box trucks
- Handling: Heavy touch delivery of restaurant supplies and food items, loading and unloading of truck required. There will be warehouse training required to help familiarize yourself with the products.
- License: Class B
- Experience: 1+ verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operated equipmenton localroutes
- Transport freightin accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
