Full job description
Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a respected hospital providing care across a full patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics. This is a supervised CRNA role with a strong focus on general surgical cases and opportunities to engage in neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia.
This need is open and ongoing- we are looking for providers that can start as soon as possible, but we are also looking for coverage on an ongoing basis.Job Description
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
- Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
- Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
- Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards
- 32-40hrs/week (8s or 10s). Work either Monday or Friday every week.
- No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)
- Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases
- Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms, with rotating assignments based on need
- Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
- Board Certified CRNA - REQUIRED
- Active MI license - REQUIRED
- Clean Background- REQUIRED
- Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) - REQUIRED , required at the time of presentation.
- ACLS & BLS through AHA - REQUIRED
- PALS - REQUIRED
- Must have 1 year CRNA experience - REQUIRED
