Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Unit Details: Cares for patients across the lifespan, from neonates through geriatrics. PCU/Med-Surg mix assignment with ED support. Assigned to the ED to help with patient flow. Performs CPAP/BiPap, jet aerosol, oxygen therapy, incentive spirometry, chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, high-flow oxygen, continuous aerosols, ventilator management, diagnostic testing, arterial blood gas punctures and testing, airway maneuvers, and bedside pulmonary function testing. Uses Trilogy 8300, Trilogy EV300, VapoTherm, para packs, and R8 GE 60 vents. Uses non-invasive respiratory therapy equipment such as oximeters and end-tidal CO2 analyzers; requires understanding of EKGs, electronic monitoring, lead placement, basic arrhythmias, chest suction equipment, and chest X-ray interpretation.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other holiday and every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Could also be floated through ICU and therapy on floors.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required for submission
