JOB TITLE: Electrical / Electronic Functional Test Technician (Early Career) - $5K Relocation Bonus
LOCATION: On-site in North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $26-31/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Perform routine production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual operations.

  • Conduct functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components.

  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and faults.

  • Assess and document test or analysis data to ensure compliance.

  • Identify roadblocks and production constraints; escalate unresolved issues with clear communication.

  • Support team performance through cross-training and mentoring.

  • Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED; vocational school or associate degree also accepted.

  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.

  • 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.

  • 1+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installation, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.

  • 1+ years using software applications: internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized tools.

  • 1+ years following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.

  • Ability to meet physical requirements: flexion/extension (head bent down/up), kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, twisting, standing, walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, scaffolding), crawling, and crouching.

  • Ability to lift and carry required materials as needed.

  • Must be able to work variable shifts.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
