Electrical Engineering Intern – RF Communications
Location: Cubic Secure Comms
Cubic Secure Comms is seeking a motivated Systems Electrical Engineering Intern to support the development, testing, and sustainment of advanced RF communication systems. This internship provides hands-on experience with RF communications, laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and basic circuit and system design in a collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with RF communications system testing, integration, and validation.
- Perform laboratory measurements using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of RF, digital, and analog hardware issues.
- Collect, document, and analyze test data and prepare technical reports.
- Participate in basic electrical and RF circuit design activities.
- Assist with prototype assembly, verification, and performance evaluations.
- Follow engineering processes, documentation standards, and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of RF communications, electronics, and circuit theory.
- Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and data analysis tools is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to innovative secure communications solutions.

Cubic Pay Range:
$28.00 - $43.00 + benefits.
The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
