Full job description

Shift: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $32.45 an hour + $0.75 shift differential

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will support the Louisville, Kentucky manufacturing facility by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You will work onsite in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and partner closely with operations and maintenance teammates to minimize downtime and support production goals.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • You will perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • You will support equipment changeovers, startups, and shutdowns as needed to meet production schedules.
  • You will follow food safety, quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements at all times.
  • You will document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to the Maintenance Team Leader and operations partners.
  • You will participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, work orders, and safety procedures.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:
  • Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
  • Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
