The Learning Technology Consultant supports the administration, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of Signet Jewelers' learning management system, Workday Learning. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, this role is responsible for ensuring learning content, assignments, curriculum, learner records, reporting, and learning programs are accurately maintained and delivered through Workday Learn and other learning technologies.This role partners closely with the broader Learning & Organization Effectiveness team, HRIS, business stakeholders, and learners across the organization to support a high-quality learning experience and ensure the effective administration of enterprise learning solutions. The Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for learning technology, helping maintain learning data integrity, learner support, system processes, reporting capabilities, technology governance and user adoption strategies.
The Consultant brings strong attention to detail, customer service, technical aptitude, and organizational skills to support learning operations and help ensure learning programs are delivered efficiently and effectively across the enterprise. This role also identifies opportunities to enhance processes, improve the learner experience, leverage system capabilities and support Signet’s evolving learning and talent development strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning Technology Administration and Optimization
Administer and maintain Workday Learn including course assignments, curricula, learning pathways, learner transcripts, and system configurations
Ensure learning content, programs, and learning activities are accurately deployed, maintained, and updated within learning systems
Monitor learning technology processes and system functionality to support a positive learner experience and ensure operational effectiveness
Serve as the primary consultant and subject matter expert for Workday Learning and related learning technologies, recommending solutions that support business and learner needs and educating stakeholders, managers, and learning partners on system capabilities, best practices and effective use of learning technology
Evaluation, configure, test and support new learning technology capabilities and updates
Partner with HRIS, IT, vendors and business stakeholders to drive effective utilization, governance and continuous improvement of learning solutions
Learning Operations & Learner Support
Provide day-to-day support to learners, managers, and stakeholders by responding to questions, resolving issues, and troubleshooting learning technology concerns
Support team in the development and maintenance of learning administration procedures, documentation, job aids, standard operating procedures and user guides that support consistent and efficient learning operations
Consult with learning team members and business partners on learning technology requirements, deployment strategies, and learner experience considerations
Lead root cause analysis of learning technology issues and implement solutions to improve effectiveness
Develop and deliver training, office hours, resources and guidance that build learning technology knowledge and capability among learning partners, managers and business stakeholders
Reporting, Analytics, Data Integrity & Continuous Improvement
Maintain accurate learning records and support data quality efforts to ensure the integrity of learning information and reporting
Support team in generating, analyzing, and distributing learning reports and dashboards that support compliance, operational needs, and business decision making
Identify opportunities to improve learning processes, learner support, system utilization, and operational efficiency through reporting and feedback
Translate learning data into actionable insights that inform learning strategy
Develop reporting solutions and dashboards to measure engagement, completion trends, and learning outcomes
Identify opportunities for process automation, workflow improvements, and system enhancements that increase efficiency, scalability, and user satisfaction
Governance, Strategy & Stakeholder Partnership
Establish and maintain learning technology governance standards, operational processes, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance
Support the administration and coordination of the enterprise learning calendar by partnering with learning teams and stakeholders to ensure training events, programs, and activities are accurately scheduled, communicated, and aligned across Signet
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend learning technology solutions aligned to goals
Support learning technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives that advance the learner experience across Signet
QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of experience in Workday Learning administration, including learning assignments, learner transcripts, reporting, and learning operations
Experience serving as a learning technology consultant, analyst, administrator or systems specialist supporting enterprise learning solutions
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, quality, and data integrity
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to support learners and stakeholders across the organization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, learning authoring tools and the ability to learn and navigate new technologies and systems quickly
Demonstrated experience analyzing data, creating reports and dashboards and translating findings into recommendations
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize learning solutions
