Personal Lines Account Manager

Personal Lines Account Manager Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000–$85,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401(k)
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office

Personal Lines Account Manager Responsibilities

• Manage an established book of standard Personal Lines business, including Home, Auto, Umbrella, and related coverages
• Handle renewals, policy servicing, coverage changes, endorsements, and billing inquiries
• Review policies for accuracy and identify potential coverage gaps
• Prepare renewal and new business quotes as needed
• Respond to client questions by phone, email, and in person
• Provide clear guidance regarding coverage options and policy changes
• Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up
• Work closely with producers and internal team members to support retention and cross-selling opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements
• Deliver a high level of personalized client service throughout the policy lifecycle

Personal Lines Account Manager Requirements

• 3+ years of Personal Lines account management experience preferred
• Active Illinois Property & Casualty license
• Experience working within an independent insurance agency strongly preferred
• Applied EPIC experience required
• Strong understanding of standard Personal Lines coverages, including Home, Auto, and Umbrella
• Experience managing accounts from renewal through ongoing servicing
• Strong communication, organization, and client-service skills
