Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2470 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - United Health Services.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months - three (3) years. - Experience with telemetry patients and cardiac medications. - Ability to read rhythm strips. - Stroke experience and managing post-stroke patients.

Required Credentials: - A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred Credentials: - Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. - Professional certification in a related nursing specialty. - Relevant skills certification (i.e., PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.

Unit Details: - Med/surg/neuro/cardiac telemetry unit caring for patients with strokes, TBI, craniotomies/cranioplasties, back surgeries, VP/LP shunts, and seizures; occasional syncope, hyper/hypotension, and vascular surgeries. - Common equipment includes Bard IV pumps, GE cardiac monitor, EPCD, sit-to-stand tool, Hoyer, transfer boards, and seizure pads.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
