Flex Healthcare Security Officer - Danbury/New Milford

Job Title: Flex/Float Security Officer – Healthcare Setting
Locations: New Milford & Danbury, CT
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

About the Role
We’re looking for Flex Security Officers to work in a healthcare environment at our New Milford and Danbury locations. This role helps protect patients, staff, visitors, and property while maintaining a professional and caring presence.

Schedule Requirements

• Flex position – must be available for both 1st and 2nd shifts
• May include weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor facility premises
• Observe and report safety or security concerns
• Respond to incidents and follow established procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Enforce facility rules and regulations in a professional manner
• Complete clear and accurate incident reports

Requirements

• Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shifts as needed
• Physical examination required
• Drug test required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security experience
• Valid security guard card/license (where applicable)
