Full job description

  • This client is looking for a general surgery locum who is interested in doing clinic visits as well as port insertions. GS is located at GW, TP, SW, and GL.

  • Ideally, the provider would be able to float the locum to any of the MOBs as our need varies depending on who is pulled for call.
  • GS sees 18 members a day in the clinic
  • perform in-office procedures (Port removals, lipoma removal, melanoma removal, cyst removals etc.) as well as your standard consult/follow-up visits.
  • Procedure visit lengths are 50 minutes and regular appointments are 25. Their clinic schedule begins at 8:05 and goes to 4:50 pm.
Ports are done in our procedure suites we primarily need help covering GW and occasionally TP ports. Port appointment lengths are 60 minutes. At most, they would be doing 2 half days of ports a week.
