Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Weekends: As needed
Pay: $45–$60 per flat-rate hour, plus applicable overtime

Be the Technician Other Technicians Turn To

All Tire & Service is hiring an experienced Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician for its high-volume, six-bay Staten Island shop, which services approximately 850 vehicles each month.

You’ll diagnose challenging drivability, electrical, and check-engine-light concerns across Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. You’ll also guide less-experienced technicians and help keep repairs moving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns
  • Resolve challenging vehicle issues to maintain an efficient workflow
  • Mentor less-experienced technicians
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors and management
  • Use Tire Shop/Freedom SMS, Steer CRM, AutoOps, and other shop technology

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional automotive technician experience
  • Advanced automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong drivability and electrical diagnostic experience
  • Strong scan-tool knowledge
  • Experience servicing Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical support to less-experienced technicians
  • New York State Inspector License preferred
