Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends
Pay Rate: $35–$50/hour
Pay Type: Hourly + Production Bonus
Earning Potential: $80,000–$130,000+ annually
Typical Flagged Hours: Production bonus starts at 35 billed hours per week

About All About Automotive

All About Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join its independent repair shop in Portland, OR.

You'll focus on advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on Domestic and Asian vehicles while working in an organized 8-bay facility equipped with Hunter alignment equipment, Autel, and Snap-on Zeus diagnostic tools.

The shop's established DVI process and $900+ Average Repair Order support a workflow designed to keep experienced technicians productive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and automotive repairs
  • Diagnose and repair Domestic and Asian vehicles
  • Complete and document Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
  • Build accurate repair plans and parts lists
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to keep repairs moving efficiently
  • Complete quality repairs while maintaining strong productivity

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional automotive technician experience preferred
  • Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to complete complex repairs independently
  • Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) software experience preferred
  • ASE Certifications preferred
