About the Role:

Tubi is seeking an experienced Director-level Account Executive to drive advertising revenue across a select portfolio of high-profile Financial Services accounts, with a primary focus on insurance companies.

This is a senior individual-contributor role responsible for the complete sales cycle—from account strategy and prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, close, and renewal. The Director, Account Executive will develop relationships with senior marketers, agency leaders, and investment teams while positioning Tubi as a strategic media partner capable of delivering meaningful brand and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a consultative media seller with strong industry relationships, deep knowledge of the insurance advertising landscape, and a demonstrated ability to grow complex accounts. This position reports to the Senior Director, Head of Financial Services.

This is a hybrid role based out of our New York office. You must be willing to travel to our New York office four days/week.

What You'll Do:

Revenue Growth and Account Ownership

  • Own and grow advertising revenue across a defined list of insurance and Financial Services accounts.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans that identify client priorities, decision-makers, agency relationships, budget opportunities, and paths to long-term growth.
  • Manage the full sales process, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, proposal development, negotiation, closing, campaign renewal, and incremental revenue generation.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Expand Tubi’s share of client media budgets by identifying opportunities across brands, products, business units, and campaign objectives.

Consultative and Outcomes-Based Selling

  • Position Tubi’s audience, content, data, targeting, and measurement capabilities against each advertiser’s marketing and business objectives.
  • Move client conversations beyond reach and frequency by demonstrating how Tubi can contribute to brand lift, customer acquisition, consideration, and other measurable outcomes.
  • Translate complex audience and measurement insights into clear, persuasive sales narratives.
  • Create customized solutions that bring together premium video inventory, audience targeting, branded content, sponsorships, and measurement capabilities.

Client and Agency Relationships

  • Build trusted relationships with senior brand marketers, media leaders, procurement partners, and agency executives.
  • Develop strong coverage across client and agency organizations, including strategy, planning, investment, analytics, and activation teams.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts and maintain a consistent cadence of client meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Establish Tubi as a valuable source of marketplace intelligence, consumer insights, and category-specific thought leadership.
  • Represent Tubi at relevant client meetings, agency events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities.

Insurance Category Expertise

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the insurance marketplace, including property and casualty, auto, home, life, health, and other relevant segments.
  • Monitor category trends, competitive activity, consumer behavior, regulatory considerations, and shifts in media investment.
  • Develop insurance-specific points of view that connect Tubi’s capabilities to advertiser priorities and marketplace challenges.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and translate them into actionable sales strategies.

Strategic Planning and Deal Development

  • Lead annual planning, upfront, scatter, and opportunistic sales conversations across assigned accounts.
  • Pursue direct advertiser commitments, agency-led investments, and longer-term strategic partnerships.
  • Structure and negotiate high-value agreements that balance client needs with Tubi’s revenue and business objectives.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations to maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, account plans, and activity reporting.
  • Keep account and opportunity information current within Tubi’s CRM and follow established sales processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Client Services, Sales Planning, Ad Operations, Measurement, Research, Marketing, Product, and Legal to develop and execute effective client solutions.
  • Provide clear client objectives and strategic direction to internal teams throughout the proposal and campaign lifecycle.
  • Partner with Measurement and Research teams to develop learning agendas, evaluate campaign performance, and communicate results to clients.
  • Share marketplace feedback that can inform Tubi’s advertising products, measurement capabilities, sales materials, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Support successful post-sale execution while maintaining ownership of the senior client relationship and future revenue opportunities.

Your Background:

  • Significant experience in media, digital advertising, connected television, streaming, or related advertising sales.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding revenue targets while managing complex, high-value accounts.
  • Established relationships within the Financial Services category, preferably with insurance advertisers and their media agencies.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including agency planning and investment processes, programmatic media, data-driven targeting, and campaign measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell consultatively and connect media solutions to client business and marketing objectives.
  • Experience developing senior-level relationships within large, matrixed client and agency organizations.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to interpret audience, attribution, and campaign-performance data and translate it into actionable client recommendations.
  • Disciplined approach to territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reporting.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across a fast-moving, cross-functional organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
