Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the construction and industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Doors production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist

Location: Pittsburg, KS

Pay Range:

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.

What's the Job?

  • Assemble all types of steel door units according to customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret production tickets accurately to ensure proper assembly.
  • Verify material quality, accuracy, and count with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and pushing.
  • Excellent manual dexterity; able to work at a fast pace with multiple components.
