A high-volume, fine dining restaurant in Boston is seeking an experienced and polished Assistant General Manager to join its leadership team. Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations
• Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team
• Maintain exceptional standards of service and hospitality
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management
• Monitor labor, costs, and other key operational metrics
• Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure prompt resolution
• Collaborate with the culinary team to provide a seamless dining experience
• Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and company standards

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of restaurant management experience
• Fine dining or upscale, high-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, and cost controls
• A hands-on leadership style and strong floor presence
• Ability to remain composed and effective in a demanding environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
