Licensed Structural Professional Engineer Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; a Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Minimum of 5-+ years of experience in structural engineering design
  • Proficient in structural design software: REVIT, RAM Structural Systems, RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, and CAD tools
  • Experience with REVIT 3D Modeling Software, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Ability to perform analysis and design of residential and commercial buildings, including wind, seismic, earth, and gravity load calculations
  • Skilled in designing with reinforced concrete, precast, structural steel, masonry, and wood construction materials
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes
