The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and actively participating in the day-to-day operations of a telecommunications construction warehouse.

What you’ll do

  • Manage, oversee, supervise and participate in daily operations.
  • Follow established policy and procedures for company and our vendors.
  • Control and manage all inventory processes and address any issues as needed (cycle counts, reconciliations, receipts, etc.).
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory management systems (APOS) (Company & Customer).
  • Communicate with various levels of management and customers to ensure that customer expectations are met and issues are resolved, including turnaround time.
  • Ensure warehouse duties are completed by staff efficiently and effectively.
  • Support and ensure compliance with company safety programs and initiatives as well as all applicable OSHA and state workplace safety laws.
  • Work with field supervisors and crews to assure all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Operate forklift, load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Interview, select and train warehouse personnel, as needed.

  • Able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
  • Team player who works productively with wide range of people
  • Strong mathematical abilities
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to work under pressures of a deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of computer software applications (Windows, Microsoft Word/Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability/experience in operating a forklift
  • Must be able to pass drug, background, MVR, and DOT screenings
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Experience in the telecommunications/construction sector is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory position

The wage range for Warehouse Manager is $70,000 - $80,000.
