As a Service Technician, you’ll be the hands-on expert ensuring our valve automation systems perform flawlessly in the field. Your work will directly impact the safety, uptime, and productivity of our clients’ operations. The territory for this position covers the state of Florida and will be based out of Ocala, FL.
What you'll do:
- Install, calibrate, and commission automated valve assemblies at customer sites.
- Perform start-up services, maintenance and troubleshooting on pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic actuators.
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs to guide installations and repairs.
- Conduct on-site diagnostics using multimeters, pressure gauges, and control system interfaces.
- Provide technical support and training to customer maintenance teams.
- Document service activities, parts usage, and recommendations in detailed reports.
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience in valve automation, industrial instrumentation, or related mechanical/electrical service work.
- Strong knowledge of flow control valves, actuators, and positioners.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, and calibration devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (up to 50%).
