Venue: Brookshire Grocery Arena & Shreveport Municipal Auditorium
Hourly Rate: Based on venue & position ($14.00 - $16.00)
JOB SUMMARY:
Event Staff provides excellent customer service to clients, customers, employees, guests, patrons and or visitors in accordance position assignment and Post Orders to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment.
This position will be event based as needed.
Responsibilities: All responsibilities are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner and in accordance with client and/or Andy Frain policies and procedures.
Responsibilities may vary from location to location but will typically consist of the following:
- Controls movement of staff, visitors, property and or vehicles into and through the permitted areas of the client site; provided directions and places barriers; carries out admittance and access procedures as required.
- Assists visitors with a legitimate need to gain entry to the site; screens visitors and client employees in an efficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the site.
- Provides excellent customer service; provides a courteous, respectful and pleasant interaction with each client employee and visitor. Presents a good impression of the client and Andy Frain by maintaining a professional image and greeting people in a polite and friendly manner.
- Provides operational assistance before, during and after events; monitors assigned area for safety, cleanliness and functionality and corrects or reports issues as required.
- Responds to accidents, conditions, emergencies or incidents in accordance with established procedures and/or through training; assists as required and provides direction or information to others.
- Reports incidents or suspicious activity to security personnel, client representatives, Andy Frain Management, life/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site; prepares logs or reports as required.
- Completes other similar tasks as required by circumstance or post order.

Physical Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a citizen of the United States or lawful permanent resident.
- Have a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma.
- Possess a reliable means of communication (i.e. phone).
- Possess a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
- Pass a criminal background check, in accordance with State/Federal law and guidelines.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, as required for duty.
- Pass an employment and personal history check, in accordance with State/Federal law and guidelines.
- Possess basic aptitudes and physical abilities including; color perception, visual acuity, physical coordination, motor skills, meeting lifting requirements (pass the Fit for Duty).
