NOW HIRING: Maintenance Technician
Location: Camarillo, CA
Pay: Competitive Pay, Based on Experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and troubleshooting expertise to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing production equipment, preferably within a food or beverage manufacturing environment, and possess a strong understanding of equipment reliability, safety, and preventive maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain:
- Conveyor systems
- Filling and packaging machinery
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- PLC-controlled equipment
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics in a manufacturing environment.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and special maintenance projects.
Facility Maintenance
- Perform facility maintenance activities including:
- Plumbing repairs
- HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting
- Drywall repair
- Painting
- General facility upkeep and repairs
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs as needed.
Production Support
- Assist with the design, installation, and implementation of production lines and related equipment.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols, GMPs, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
- Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, GMPs, and regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Experience with PLC-controlled systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Welding (Arc) and basic fabrication experience are a plus.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
