Hours & Schedule

  • Full-Time, 40 hours weekly
  • Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm 
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and being available on call for after hour emergencies 
  • Up to $27.00/hour

Small Engine Mechanic specializes in the repair and maintenance of small engines, typically found in golf carts, small utility trucks and generators. Their responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and making repairs to various components such as engines, batteries, brakes, and electrical systems. They need a strong understanding of engine mechanics, electrical systems, and fuel systems. May be required to assist with general maintenance tasks at times.

  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tire replacements. 
  • Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues, including brakes, differentials, and steering systems. 
  • Ensure safety by performing regular inspections and maintenance checks. 
  • Maintain a parts inventory and order supplies and parts. 
  • Keep records on maintenance, repairs, and battery replacements.
  • Create and maintain service schedule for all golf cart and utility vans.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Active Driver's License required. 
  • Requires a A/B underground storage tank operator certification, training provided by employer.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience.
