ACH Coordinator

As ACH Coordinator you keep our financial engine running so engineering and product teams can focus on the next generation of in-vehicle experiences. Your precision and process discipline directly protect cash flow, vendor relationships, and our ability to scale with OEM partners.

Performance Objectives

• Process 100% of incoming and outgoing ACH files daily with zero NACHA violations and same-day exception resolution.
• Reconcile all ACH-related bank accounts by 10 a.m. each business day, flagging variances greater than $50 within two hours.
• Reduce ACH return rates below 0.4% within six months by tightening pre-note and authorization controls.
• Cut average ACH processing cycle time 20% in the first year through automation and bank-file optimization.
• Deliver monthly ACH performance dashboards to Finance leadership showing volume, cost-per-transaction, and error trends.
• Onboard two new banking partners or payment rails without disrupting existing settlement windows.

Environment & Resources

You report to the Controller and sit inside a lean, San Diego-based Finance team of six. You will work with our existing treasury workstation, QuickBooks, and bank portals; modest process-improvement budget is available. Cross-functional partners include AP, AR, and our global operations group supporting OEM programs.

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on ACH origination, returns, and reconciliation experience in a high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated mastery of NACHA rules, prenotes, and SEC codes with a track record of audit-ready documentation.
• Proven ability to reconcile multi-bank, multi-currency ACH activity and close daily cash position on time.
• Experience implementing or optimizing ACH file formats and exception workflows that measurably reduced errors or cycle time.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills plus comfort with bank APIs or treasury workstations.
