Field Installation Manager Benefits & Compensation

• Full-time role with salary range of $55,000–$65,000
• Primarily weekday hours, with some nights and weekends during peak seasons

Field Installation Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Demonstrated field experience in landscape, low-voltage, permanent, holiday lighting, irrigation, exterior construction, or electrical-adjacent work
• Strong knowledge of jobsite execution, wiring, transformers, controllers, materials, and installation quality
• Excellent troubleshooting and technical coaching skills
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with franchise owners, technicians, vendors, and team members
• Highly organized, proactive, and process-driven
• Comfortable working outdoors on ladders, roofs, and active job sites
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel periodically for field training and franchise support

Field Installation Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• 5+ years relevant outdoor lighting or exterior construction experience
• Experience training or coaching field teams or installers
• Background with permanent lighting/RGB lighting systems
• Low-voltage certification or electrical experience
• Experience creating checklists, training, or field standards

Outdoor Lighting Technical Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical coaching and troubleshooting to franchise owners, technicians, and team members
• Support lighting design and installation execution for landscape, permanent, and holiday projects
• Diagnose and resolve wiring, transformer, controller, and installation quality issues to reduce repeat site visits
• Review job details and field conditions to identify practical installation solutions
• Lead hands-on training sessions and support franchise locations during field visits
• Develop training materials, field standards, and installation best practices
• Coordinate with vendors on product support and complex installation issues
• Serve as a field resource for the Virginia Beach location, offering job prep, installation guidance, and troubleshooting assistance
