We're looking for a hands-on Metal Worker to support the repair and production of critical aircraft engine components. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and take pride in producing quality work, this could be the opportunity for you. In this hands-on role, you'll use tools, fixtures, and equipment to modify, blend, and prepare parts to precise specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Shift: Monday-Friday (Days may fluctuate due to business needs) | 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Shift Differential: $1-$3/hour based on assigned workdays
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

What You'll Do
  • Blend, polish, and modify metal parts to required specifications
  • Set up and use tools, fixtures, and production equipment
  • Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Follow production instructions, quality standards, and process requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Assist with other production-related tasks as needed

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Manufacturing or metalworking experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Join Chromalloy Carson City and help restore and manufacture critical aerospace components used throughout the aviation industry.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.

Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.
