Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring product excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to quality standards, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Pay Range: $30.00 to $40.00

Shift: 7am to 4 pm

What's the Job?

  • Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance.
  • Lead continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to build quality awareness.
  • Interface with Engineering and Production to verify products meet specifications.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field with 5+ years of experience in a Quality System.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Proven experience in performing internal and external audits.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, CSA, MET, ISPM 15, CE Certification, and calibration programs.
