AECOM is seeking a SeniorProject Manager to be based in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee project related activities for smaller projects or a defined part of a larger project, in support of the overall Project Manager.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for project delivery at the project level or for elements of a project.
  • Advocate for ethical and safe working practices.
  • Supports innovation in project management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation.
  • Identify areas of high risk and pro-actively takes actions to positively impact project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the global learning and people development strategy for project management, including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans.
  • Assess long-term and disruptive trends in their area of expertise.
  • Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Project Management agreement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector, particularly focusing on schools and universities.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating their professional growth and development.


Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS plus four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • Relocation is not available for this position.
