Position Details:

Weekends Days, Full Time, 36 hours per Week

Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd

ICU

Overview:

Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

  • Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License

  • Certifications: BLS & ACLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care

  • Other: Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.
