Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

Required Skills/Experience: Nitro, insulin (may initiate and then transfer), low dose dopamine and dobutamine. Rare on this floor. Would be titratable within a small range.

Unit Details: Common patient population includes total joints, cardiac rule out, PNA, psych, and general surgery post op patients. RNs titrate heparin drips; heparin is weight based. Telemetry/monitor techs are available, and RNs read strips. Nurse aides available with 1:8 ratios, max 1:12. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays rotate as needed. No call.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Primary to St. Clare Hospital, but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two: St. Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA. Can float up to Med Tele, PCU, or ICU to care for MedSurg acuity patients or ER holding.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
