This role combines large-scale utility data management with detailed bill validation to ensure accuracy, identify cost drivers, and improve visibility into energy spend.

Utility Data Management & Analysis
Collect, validate, and maintain utility data across client accountsTrack usage and cost trends across portfoliosEnsure accuracy and completeness of datasetsInvoice Auditing & Bill Validation
Audit utility invoices for accuracy across rates, usage, and chargesIdentify discrepancies, errors, and billing anomaliesValidate billing data against historical patternsSupport tracking and resolution of invoice issuesConsumption & Cost Analysis
Analyze consumption and cost drivers across client portfoliosPerform variance analysis across sites and billing periodsIdentify anomalies and unusual usage patternsResearch utility rates to evaluate feasibility to switch tariffsReporting & Visualization
Develop standard and ad hoc reports and dashboardsPrepare clear client-facing insights and summariesPresent analytical findings in a structured formatFinancial & Operational Analysis
Perform cost tracking and variance analysisSupport budgeting using historical data trendsValidate accruals and align financial datasetsProcess Improvement & Collaboration

Desired Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 0–5 years of experience working in a regular professional business setting
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI), and ability to perform data analysis in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Skills:
Utility billing or invoice auditing experienceAdvanced Excel skillsFamiliarity with either the North American energy power or natural gas markets, or both
