Kitchen Manager

Join a growing restaurant group in Charleston as Kitchen Manager for one of its high-volume concepts.

We're looking for a hands-on kitchen leader who takes pride in building strong teams, maintaining quality and consistency, controlling costs, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy service. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily BOH operations and ensure consistent execution
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop culinary team members
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety
  • Manage food and labor costs while maintaining kitchen efficiency
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, prep, and kitchen systems
  • Lead by example during high-volume service
  • Build a positive, accountable, and team-focused kitchen culture
  • Work with restaurant leadership to improve operations and profitability

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or BOH management experience
  • Proven track record of stability and strong tenure
  • High-volume, scratch-kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
  • Understanding of food cost, labor management, inventory, and kitchen systems
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
