About Pit Shop Auto Repair

Pit Shop Auto Repair is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician in Lindenhurst, IL, offering $36–$60 per flagged hour with a 30-hour weekly guarantee. This Monday–Friday position has no weekends and includes weekly pay, dedicated training, and advanced diagnostic equipment. Technicians have Parts Manager or Service Advisor support for parts ordering so they can stay focused on diagnostics and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform automotive maintenance and general repairs
• Complete more complex repairs based on skill level
• Perform vehicle inspections and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
• Document diagnostic findings and recommended repairs
• Complete quality repairs while maintaining productivity in a flat-rate environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• B-Level diagnostic and general repair skills
• Electrical and drivability troubleshooting experience
• Ability to complete automotive repairs independently
• Comfortable working in a flat-rate environment
• ASE Certifications preferred
