Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is seeking an experienced Senior VFD and Electric Motor Technician to join our Denver-based service team. EMC has been a trusted leader in industrial automation for over 46 years, specializing in electric motors, VFDs, and industrial drive systems.
This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who can work independently, troubleshoot complex industrial equipment, and provide exceptional customer support in the field.
Responsibilities
Occasional overnight and weekend travel required.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial motors, VFDs, and drive systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and software
- Perform equipment start-ups and warranty service
- Serve as a mentor for junior technicians and help train
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Communicate repair recommendations and technical findings with customers and management
- Maintain accurate service records, time reporting, and inventory on assigned service truck
- Support emergency service calls and participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at customer sites

Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of industrial field service or related electrical/mechanical experience
- Strong knowledge of electric motors, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience a plus
